The short version
Flappy Arcade does not collect personal information. There is no account system, no login, no newsletter, no contact database and no analytics installed.
The site stores a small amount of information in your own browser so that it can remember your favourites, your recently played list, your best scores and your sound preference. That data never leaves your device and we have no way to read it.
No advertising is currently served on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any advertising code is added, and the change will be described on this page.
What is stored in your browser
All of it lives in your browser's local storage under this site's origin. There are no cookies.
| Key | Contents | Why |
|---|---|---|
| fa:bests | Best result per game and metric, with a date | So you can see your personal best |
| fa:favorites | A list of game identifiers | So your favourites page works |
| fa:recent | Game identifiers, timestamps and play counts (max 40) | So the recently played page works |
| fa:prefs | Sound on or off | So the mute setting persists |
That is the complete list. There is no identifier, no profile, no session token and nothing that could identify you. You can remove all of it at any time from the cookie and storage policy page, or by clearing site data in your browser.
What we do not collect
- No personal information. No names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses are collected by the site.
- No accounts. There is no registration and no login anywhere.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no alternative analytics product, no pixel, no tag manager.
- No third-party scripts. The site loads no external JavaScript at all. Every file it uses is served from this domain.
- No fonts or resources from third parties. There are no web font requests, so no font provider sees your visit.
- No cookies. The site sets none.
Server logs
This site is hosted as static files, and like essentially all web hosting, the host may keep standard access logs — typically an IP address, a timestamp, the requested URL and a browser user-agent string.
We do not control the retention period of those logs and we do not use them. They exist at the hosting layer for operational and security purposes. We have no separate logging, no database and no analytics layered on top.
The contact form
The contact page includes a form that validates your input in your browser and then tells you plainly that it cannot send the message, because there is no mail server attached to a static site.
Nothing you type into that form is transmitted or stored anywhere. To actually reach us, email hello@flappyarcade.xyz — at which point we hold your message in an ordinary email inbox until it is dealt with.
Children
Flappy Arcade contains no violence, no chat, no user-generated content, no accounts and no purchases, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Because there is no data collection at all, there is nothing to obtain consent for. If advertising is enabled in future, this section will be revised to describe what that means before any advertising code is added.
Your rights
Data protection law gives you rights over personal data held about you. In our case there is an unusually simple answer: we hold none, so there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete on our side.
The data stored in your browser is entirely under your control. You can view it through your browser's developer tools, remove it with the clear-data button on the cookie policy page, or clear site data in your browser settings.
If you email us, we hold that email until the matter is resolved. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Changes to this policy
If the site changes in a way that affects privacy — advertising, analytics, or any third-party script — this policy will be updated before the change goes live, and the updated date on this page will change with it.
We will not add tracking quietly. The whole point of publishing this level of detail is to make it obvious if it ever stops being true.
